Founded in the Genroku era (1688-1704), Shizuoka Prefecture's oldest brewery, which has continued for 18 generations, brews sake using underflow water that has flowed through the lava of Mt. Fuji for over 70 years. A Junmai Daiginjo that is highly aromatic, with a hint of sweetness and a good balance of acidity.
In 2004, it was awarded the prestigious Triple Crown of Excellence, winning first place or gold medals in all of the competitions held in Shizuoka Prefecture, the four Tokai prefectures, and the nation.
